I have issues printing some PDF documents, some black boxes or black patches are being printed, while they are not existing on the PDF documents.  I am using an iMAC with operating system macOS 10.14 Mojave.  I have just download the HP Easy Start driver (supposed to be for the operating system macOS 10.14 Mojave) and the black boxes are still printing.  Do you have any ideas why?  Thank you

A warm welcome to HP Community!

Which application are you using to print the PDF file. Eg: Preview, Adobe?

Could you save the PDF file as JPEG and then try printing the JPEG file and check if its printing the black patches.

Thank you for your help.  I use Preview (from MAC). When I save files in jpeg or png, there is no problem printing the correct thing, it is the PDF the problem.  But it takes time to always save in a different format.  Some PDF files print correctly, while some others bring black patches.  Thank you!

It sounds like an issue with the PDF file. Have you tried downloading the file again and then printing it?
