HP Envy 5540 Printer
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

My device is out of warranty and I want HP to uninstall the Product Improvement Study for HP 5540 serieds.  I have to pay to talk to them. I had Revo uninstall the program and my scanner stopped working. I had to reinstall the program and reinstall 5540 from CD and reconnect the home network to get wireless scanner to work. How can I resolve my problem?

Greetings! @Bob6659

Here's what I suggest we do, to get through this:

You can uninstall HP ENVY 110 series Product Improvement Study from your computer by using the Add/Remove Program feature in the Window's Control Panel:

  • On the Start menu (for Windows 8, right-click the screen's bottom-left corner), click Control Panel, and then, under Programs, do one of the following:
    • Windows Vista/7/8: Click Uninstall a Program.

  • When you find the program HP ENVY 110 series Product Improvement Study, click it, and then do one of the following:
    • Windows Vista/7/8: Click Uninstall.

Follow the prompts. A progress bar shows you how long it will take to remove HP ENVY 110 series Product Improvement Study.
