No matter what I do my printer will not use tray 2. I have the latest driver, under utility is shows both trays, it has tray 2 as the default tray but it always always always prints only from tray 1. But more frustrating is I purchased this new from Office Depot less than 1 week ago and when I try to contact support HP says they "No longer support this device". I've only had it 5 days and it was not purchased as a "clearance" item. How can HP no longer support it???

This product is under support. HP is selling the product online.
Register your product on the HP Website and use the following link to check its warranty.

or

When products are bought online from sites like e-bay, there is a confusion with respect to the warranty, since the seller may have bought the product from HP much before it got sold, and these are not authorized dealers. Hence, the warranty starts from the date it was sold to them. If you bought it as new on Amazon from an authorized HP dealer, then you should not have any issue with warranty.

Sorry to hear that. Dealers often sell products that have been stuck with them for years during clearance sales. I guess you do not have the option to return it also.
Here is something you can try:
On the following link, follow the instructions under the topic Changing the paper type or size

Thanks for the reply ... I tried those optons, not luck. 😞 I noticed I had a type in my post. I meant to say it was "not" purchased as a clearance item. Amazon is also still selling the product as new. https://www.amazon.com/HP-OfficeJet-Wireless-Printing-K7S42A/dp/B01CJNMNE6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=14... HP webstie says they support products for 10 years. No way can this be an "over 10 year old" model. Goofy.
