Out of paper error when paper present.   The roller that pulls the paper from the stack does not move when any type of copy is initiated.  Scan works when connected to a computer.

Is this an electronic issue or perhaps mechanical?

  • When was the last time the printer was working fine? About Two Weeks Ago
  • Have you made any software or hardware changes on the computer?  Have tried both computer connectivity and stand alone printing
  • Have you performed any troubleshooting steps before posting?  Did the cleaning of rollers, etc as instructed on the forum and other information received from the internet.

The pickup roller does not move when trying a print JOB.

When connected to the computer I am able to use the Scan and post documents to the computer with no difficulty, but unable to move the paper into the print cycle.

Thanks
