@EMoore1

Thank you for posting on HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:

Try these steps -

  • 1) Turn on the printer, if it is not already on.
  • 2) Wait until the printer is idle and silent.
  • 3) With the printer turned on, unplug the power cord from the printer & wall.
  • 3) Wait for 60 seconds.
  • 4) Plug the power cord back into the printer and wall, ensure the printer is plugged into the wall & not into a surge protector.
  • 5) Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.

Also, try updating the printer's firmware. You may also refer to this document - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware

Step 2 Reboot the devices -

  • 1) Turn off the Router, Printer, and computer.
  • 2) Wait for 60 seconds.
  • 3) Turn on the Router first and wait for all the lights to stabilize.
  • 4) Turn on the printer and allow it to configure itself.
  • 5) Turn on the computer.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
