Hi

Instructions on installing P2055d  say:

The RFU settings must be changed to "ON" for the firmware to be succesful.

Go to service -> RFU on the to check and change this setting.

This is instructions written by hp.

Btw how can I see what FW version I have.

I have never had to change any settings to apply firmware. This model typically uses a utility not an RFU. If you have an RFU then the easiest method to install is to use FTP which would mean that you would need to enable FTP printing in the protocol settings of the embedded web server. You are not able to enable this from the control panel. If you print the configuration report it will show the firmware revision in the upper left side of the config page.
