LaserJet Enterprise MFP M630
Hi there!
I'm trying to work on an HP Laserjet Enterprise MFP M630.
I'm trying to do a RAM test but I get the attached images after a while and it doesn't progress. It gets to 100% then get stuck with weird symbols as shown, reverting back to 0% and staying that way for hours. 
I've replaced the RAM. Wiped the SSD (and tested). Upgraded the firmware from the "bios" style menu via USB.
I'm unsure what else to try. IS there anyway to update this blue bios software or is that already done/included with the firmware update?
I noticed on the HP website there were two alternative firmware versions to download, both out on the same days, one seeming to be a newer version.
I'm still learning with these printers so any obvious advice is welcome.

Update, I ran all the other diagnostic tests except the RAM test. Still the weird characters came up and the screen froze on 0%... Tempted to replace the whole formatter board.

I replaced the formatter board, now when I try to load the firmware it gives me this error:

 

Download Error 
Unsupported Bundle

Error: 99.02.28

Press OK

 

I've no idea how to continue. I will create a new thread.

Very frustrated. With new formatter board it still made those trange characters and got stuck after diagnostics test, after long RAM test got to 100%. Very annoyed. 

I'm tempted to just scrap this. No one seems to know what this could be. Thanks.

Can you clarify what type of drive you are using? These devices do not support SSD, you must use a SATA harddrive. Drive must be capable of Self encryption if you are going to use FutureSmart 4 firmware.

Hi Repairatrooper. Thanks for your reply. 

I'm no sure what you mean as you can get SATA SSDs...

Here is a picture of the storage plugged into the SATA port. It seems like a type of SSD to me. It's 8GB.

This is how i got the machine, i don't believe it was changed. I can put a traditional HDD instead if you think that would help. 

I can also try the tests without anything plugged into the SATA. Thanks.
