Hi maa14319,

  • The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
  • I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.

My Country Saudi Arabia

My printer 2135

I have a problem & it's a protected cartridge.

How do I open protection?

I can't print.

HP Recommended

A cartridge protection error is due to using a cartridge that has previously been used in a printer that had cartridge protection enabled.  The cartridge is locked to the printer that it was originally installed in, it cannot be reset to be used ina different printer.

You will need to replace the cartridge with a fresh cartridge.
