@Visuals, Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding the HP 8132e series printer.

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution. We hope our assistance has been helpful!

If you're experiencing firmware issues with your HP 8132e series printer, here are some steps you can take to resolve the problem:

  1. Check for Firmware Updates: Ensure that your printer has the latest firmware installed. You can do this by visiting the official HP website and navigating to the support and drivers section. Enter your printer model to find the latest firmware updates.

  2. Update Firmware via HP Smart App: If your printer supports it, you can use the HP Smart app to check and install firmware updates directly from your mobile device.

  3. Update Firmware Manually:

    • Download the Firmware: Go to the HP support website, search for your printer model, and download the latest firmware.
    • Install the Firmware: Follow the instructions provided with the firmware download to install it on your printer. This usually involves connecting the printer to your computer and running the firmware update utility.
  4. Reset the Printer: Sometimes a simple printer reset can resolve issues. Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for about a minute, and then plug it back in and turn it on.

  5. Check Network Connectivity: If your printer is connected to a network, ensure that the network connection is stable. A shaky connection might affect firmware updates.

I hope this helps!

Take care and have an amazing day!
