I have the same question but I'm using a MAC v.10.13.6. I tested doing a photo copy in color, and it worked just fine. When I attempt to print, there is no longer an option to print in color or in B&W, and it shows all of the ink level bars as being grey.

Welcome to HP Forums. This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips to your technical queries.

I understand you are not able to print color from your Mac PC.Since you are able to copy documents in color, it could be an issue with the print driver installed on your PC. Removing existing print driver and adding a compatible driver may resolve the issue. Let's try these steps:

1.) Click the Apple menu, click System Preferences, and then click Print & Scan or Printers & Scanners.

2.) Check if your printer name displays in the Printers list. If your printer is listed, click the printer name, click the minus sign to delete the printer.

3.) Click the plus sign , click Add Printer or Scanner, click the printer name.

4.) Click the Use or Print Using menu, select AirPrint (If the printer is connected Wireless) or select the name of your printer in the pop-up menu if it's connected using a USB cable. Then click Add.

5.) Try to print.

Let me know how it goes!

Yep, that was the issue. I needed to uninstall before re-installing. I tried re-installing alone previously, and it kept failing. Thanks!
