Welcome to the HP support community.

I understand that you are getting a B305ED09 error on the printer, I am glad to assist you.

You might have to perform a semi-full reset on the printer.

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.

I am sending you a private message with the steps to reset the printer. Please check the mailbox icon at the top-right corner of this screen.

I hope this helps resolve this issue completely.

To thank me for my efforts to help you, please mark my post as an accepted solution so that it benefits several others.

Thank you; I performed the SemiFull Reset as instructed and the printer is working now - but time will tell if this resolves the problem (fingers crossed).

One thing to note; I was a little confused by your initial steps because when my printer powers up, the screen doesn't display three icons as shown in the diagram (I only saw the "?" symbol).  The BL and Home icons were not visible.  Out of frustration, I pressed the area where the BL symbol should have been four times and it worked.  I was able to follow the rest of the steps from there.
