I am having the same issue got the printer never used it and then moved and now cant find the setup cartridges. Please help cant get anywhere with the virtual assistant.

I'd recommend you follow the steps from the document HP Ink Cartridges - 'Use SETUP Cartridges' error to isolate and resolve the issue.

 

If the issue persists, please reach out to HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

TEJ1602 this did not solve the problem. These are the same steps the virtual assistant gave me. Is there anything else I can do. Apparently my device is no longer under warranty so my options are limited on getting support and considering you cant call a help desk without a case number it is impossible to fix this.
