My photos are suddenly tinted red....faces are red, etc.  I changed the ink.  Found that some ink I bought on line was out of date while troubleshooting this issue but after installing all new ink cartridges and cleaning print head, etc. , results are the same.  Could the HP Photosmart D7360 finally reached its max life?  I am not sure but recently had system trouble on my computer and techs had to reinstall everything, including operating system.  HP printer software was also reinstalled.  Could this have had any impact?  Anything anyone can advise or suggest  will be greatly appreciated.  I don't want to replace the printer only to find out it isn't the printer afterall.  Thank you.  DC

Hi @donnaleec01,

Thank you for visiting the HP Forums! A great place where you can find solutions for your issues with help from the community! I came across your post and wanted to assist you. I understand you are having issues with the printer printing photos in red. Don't worry as I have a few suggestions which should help you resolve this issue.

To provide you with an accurate solution, I'll need a few more details:

Are you trying to print the photos using some applications? Or are you directly opening the photo and trying to print.

When was the last time it worked?

Have you recently made any changes on the printer before the issue started?

In the meantime, let's try these steps here:

Perform a Hard reset on the printer and make sure that the printer is connected directly to the wall outlet and not to the surge protector.

Remove all the ink cartridges and then try to perform a hard reset on the printer.

With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and also unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.

Remove USB cable, if present.

Wait for 2-3 minutes, press and hold the power button on your printer for about 30 seconds to remove any additional charge.

Now plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet without any surge protector or an extension cord and then plug back the power cord to the printer.

Turn on the printer and wait till warm-up period finishes and the printer is idle.

Now insert the ink cartridges and then try to print a test page and check if it works.

Let’s first try and make a “photocopy” to determine whether the issue is with the printer or not. Place a document on the scanner glass and choose “Copy” option. If the printer is making a good copy, then the printer hardware is fine.

If you are using a software to print the photos, I would possibly suggest you try to Uninstall and reinstall the software.

I hope this helps. Let me know how it goes for further assistance. I'll be more than happy to help.

Let me know if those steps worked for you.
