I'm done with this printer not connecting to my laptop operating Windows 10 . I used to be able to restart the computer and any print jobs in queue would print, but can't even get that done now. I have an EPSON printer that operates well with my Windows 7 and 10 laptops but this HP machine just doesn't work for me. It's a 4630. Please help or this printer gets replaced. I've tried everything online, including HP Doctor and nothing works

Welcome to the HP Forums. I would be happy to help you with your HP Officejet 4630 Printer. I understand that you are getting printer offline issue and you have already done some preliminary troubleshooting
Don't worry though as I have a few steps to determine the issue and find a solution as well,
Set the default printer and unpause printing.
Reset the printer and check the connection status.
Make sure the correct port is selected.
Update the printer firmware.
Create a manual connection.
Add the printer using HP Printer Assistant.
-
From the Device and Printers window, right-click one of the HP printer icons, and then click Remove Device.
-
If a second printer icon is shown, right-click it, and then click Remove Device.
There should be no printer devices listed for your printer.
-
Open HP Printer Assistant. Search Windows for your printer name, and then click it in the list of results.
HP Printer Assistant opens.
-
Read and respond to the screens to add a new printer.
-
From the Devices and printers window, right-click the name of your printer, and then select Printer Properties.
The Properties window opens.
-
Click the Ports tab, and then select the Standard Port you created earlier.
A second printer displays in the list of devices.
-
Try printing,
Click here and refer the document to perform the above steps.
Let me know if that heps.
Cheers.

Hello Sandy. I got as far as checking typing in the IP address on a webbrowser. First attempt it showed connected with all the right IP addresses, there was no area for me to manually add an IP address. In the middle of checking the site was no longer connected and I cannot get it to connect in any web browser now. My Printer Icon in Devices and Printers remains grey with a green check. I cannot spend any more time on this issue. Unless someone at HP can take control of my computer and look at the issues directly I cannot see anything wrong with my Ip address or connections, this only happens on 1 of my laptops. They all connect fine to my Epson printer
