It does not appear to have anything to do with your operating system as we have various OS's accessing our Color LaserJet Pro MFP M281. My printer was working perfectly fine BEFORE an automatic firmware update (directly through the printer interface). It now gives me "Supply Problem", a few seconds later I get "79 Service Error", followed a continuous cycle of shutting down, rebooting with the same lame messages. Already tried the "pull the power cord while printer is on" and restarting. Same result as always. Question: How do I go back to the previous firmware version? Cannot seem to get ANY support from HP.

Hi @BadUpdate,
I'd like to help!
We can perform a factory defaults on the printer to resolve the issue
- The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
- I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
- In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Forums profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/notes/privatenotespage
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
