Hey there! @L0retta_g, Thanks for stopping by the HP Support Forums!
I understand you are getting notifications in French.
Don't worry I'll try to help you out.
Did you make any changes to your printer?
Are you registering the printer in instant ink?
Have you selected the country on the account page?
Is it just the single email or all the emails are in French?
Make sure the country is set in the preferences of the printer.
Try the steps recommended below.
Go to hpinstantink.com/signin (the HP Connected website) to sign in to your HP Instant Ink account, if you are not signed in already.
Your HP Instant Ink account page opens.
In the My Account section, click Change language to Spanish.
Refer this article to know more information about changing shipping or billing address. Click Here
Also, if you still have issues after trying the steps. Please share few details in a private message, I will update the details for you.
Instant ink account number-
Instant ink email address-
Printer serial number-
Let me know if this helps!
Have a pleasant day ahead! 🙂
Please click “Accept as Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.
Click the “Kudos, Thumbs Up" on the bottom right to say “Thanks” for helping!

The only thing i changed recently was the ink cartridge. Prior to the last notification in French, I received all English language notifications - language preference. I only referred to Spanish is because I can read Spanish, not French.

Thank you for reaching out to us on HP Support Forums! I see you have a concern regarding the email notification. No worries, I'll be glad to assist you.
As mentioned by @L0retta_g, I would suggest you ignore the email, as HP is aware of the situation and a replacement email with the correct information and language will be sent from HP at a later date.
I hope this answers your question. Do let me know if you need any further assistance. I'll be more than glad to help you.
Take care now and do have a fabulous week ahead. 🙂
