How do I reduce the size of a document when actually placing it on the printer?

@Jann54

  1. Load the document or photo on the scanner glass or in the automatic document feeder (ADF), depending on your printer type and features.
  2. Touch Copy, Copy Document, or Copy Photo on the printer control panel, and then change any available basic settings as needed.

  3. Touch Settings or the gear icon  to view advanced copy settings.

  4. Size or Resize: Change the size of the copy. Options can include a list of presets, custom sizes between 25 and 400 percent of the original size, Fit to Page, and an Actual Size setting to make a borderless copy.

I hope that helps.

I want to place a document on the printer to copy it but want it to copy to a smaller size or percentage of the original size the way you can on the photosmart series.
