HP Photosmart Plus e-All-in-One Printer - B210a
macOS 10.14 Mojave

How can I reset regionalization of my printer please? Can I have the code and instructions please?

The printer originally took 564 ink (the printer was purchased in the US), but when I went to the approved supply store here in The Netherlands, the HP representative sold me 364 cartridges and said they would work on my printer. The box says it works on series B210, however, there is an error message that appears saying an incompatible cartridge is installed.

Searching on the boards, I see that this is a regionalization issue.

I see that Jay_G24 answered this question for another user on November 26, 2021 (however for a different printer type), perhaps they can send me the code/instructions for my printer/product type (HP Photosmart Plus B210a)

Hi @CaliClaudster,

I'd like to help!

I understand you moved and the printer is not is accepting the new region cartridges.

We need to perform a regional reset on the printer to resolve this issue.

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
