Remote printing error

Well this morning I tried to print something when I was away I got home and I found my entire paper tray used to make what you will see in the photos. If I try to print remotely you get the gibberish if I try to print while connected to the same network as a printer and make sure it's not trying to print remotely it prints correctly. Also when I cancel the print job so it doesn't use up my entire tray I now have a total of five private print ready to go the one I tried to print at the mall has got a line endlessly moving I can't do anything with it the other say canceled but I can't delete them either. I've done a factory reset on the printer I have uninstalled the smart app and the HP plugin from my phone nothing. I'm going to try and call tech support tomorrow but maybe someone can answer me before then. The two photos are a sample one connected to the same network as a printer the other disconnected from that Network and essentially using the print from anywhere system needless to say the one from the network is right.

Even though it's supposed to print one page if I don't stop it from printing when it's off the network it'll use up my entire paper tray I'm glad it's the fourth and my instant ink is about to reset. Needless to say I'm disabled print from anywhere and now I'm going to test it to see if it correctly doesn't let me print from anywhere cuz I don't want a mistakenly have that happen when I'm not here to stop it.

Well tried two times to print remotely with the remote print disabled nothing happens so at least I don't have to worry about my phone dropping Wi-Fi and me not realizing it. Hopefully tech support can help you with this problem and clear out the private print job that is stuck I'm assuming it's stuck on hp's end because nothing I do on mine does anything.

So call tech support that was a fail that was nice but it's not much he could do. I've discovered that if I send remotely a photo it prints but a PDF will print gibberish postscript gibberish I'm guessing. I've still got that stuck job in my private pickup it doesn't show up in the history it's just an endlessly scrolling line left to right it wants me to see the printer that means nothing if I click cancel it says canceling then that disappears and it just goes back to how it was I can't delete it either. I got my old phone out and set it up for the printer and that same private pickup shows up on that app too so it's not on the phone's end it's on hp's end some type of corrupted file maybe that's presents is why I can't remotely print PDFs but can remotely print photos. After this I'm going to try a few different settings on the PDF print option I just thought of that see what happens if it changes anything I will post an update.

You must end your remote control session then take remote control of the host again and under Options > Remote Printing, select the printer to which you want to print. If none of the above resolves the issue, uninstall the host software from the host computer, reboot, then reinstall

Host computer? It was sent by the android HP smart app to the print anywhere feature of HP+. I've turned off the HP print anywhere on the HP plus account page but it had no affect. I've removed all HP software from my phone and did hard reset and a factory reset of the printer no effect. Maybe if I remove the printer from my account but I'm in instant ink and not sure of the effects especially on my last free month of it. When I installed the AC software on my old phone it developed the same issue of the private pickup being available that's why I'm pretty sure it has to be on HP servers.

Well the stuck private print file is I guess time out and disappeared. But an attempt at remote printing still printed PostScript only didn't have this problem until the last firmware update maybe there's some screwy about it.

Remembered a program called printshare I used with my old brother non networked printer. It's working so Igot a work around for remote printing useful if anyone has a computer on the printers Network and a compatible phone or other computer and is having a problem with the print anywhere. Will continue to monitor the problem and see if it can be corrected properly.
