Color Laserjet Enterprise M553
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

In following on my last post (https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Printing-Errors-or-Lights-Stuck-Print-Jobs/98-00-0c-device-error-on-La... ) I replaced the eMMC and followed the steps subscribed in https://support.hp.com/lt-en/document/c04660648#AbT6 to replace and activate the new eMMC.....but as soon as I want to download the new firmware (downloaded from https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-color-laserjet-enterprise-m553-series/7087331 ) I can select it on the USB drive but when pressing OK it says:

Download error

Unsupported bundle

I used 3 different USB sticks (two usb 2.0 and one usb 3.0) formatted as FAT. Even tried the network download, which is stuck at 0%

I don't understand what's the problem here? Anyone an idea?

From preboot menu

1. Administration -> Format disk

2. Administration -> Download - > USB Thumbdrive

If that doesn't help try

1. Administration -> Manage disk -> Boot device -> Secure/Erase

2. Administration -> Download - > USB Thumbdrive

You need to select USB Thumbdrive ( not USB) for a firmware upload.

Sorry, I meant that but that isn't working. It gives me the "download error unsupported bundle" error...

Yes! The first option worked. I skipped the format disk because it has no disk but an eMMC...so I thought it didn't apply to me....but apparently it did...

Thanks a lot!
