Replacement Printer for old HP 5550

Howdy all!

I'm a high school CTE teacher and I'm looking for some guidance. My department is needing to replace an old HP 5550 printer. I've researched the depths of the internet but cannot seem to find the exact printer to replace it with. I'm looking for advice on a comparable printer to our HP 5550.

Printer needs to:

Print Color
Duplex
Print on a wide array of paper weights
Print up to A3 and/or 11x17
Print large batches for duplex booklets of 100+ pages
Print small, quality batches for graphic design work

the design of printers has changed quite a bit. The closest HP model would be either the M751 series (relatively the same size) or go slightly larger with the M855 series.
