Reset Printer to New Region for Cartridge Compatibility

I moved from the United States to Belgium. My HP Envy 4501 is in need of ink. The 61 cartridge is not available in Belgium, but this HP product information page indicates that I can use the 301 cartridge.

 

After buying and installing the 301 cartridge, the printer is showing an Incompatible Cartridge error message. This HP Knowledge Base article instructs to contact HP Support to reset the printer to the new region. Please advise how to reset the printer.
