I have an Officejet pro6960 and when I am printing a document on word with book fold chosen it leaves a massive margin on right hand side of the page and it does not fold properly on A4. I have checked all the papers settings and they are correct

Suggestions - Some Places to Check

➡️  Word is touchy about formatting.  Consider saving the document as a PDF file > Open the file in Adobe Reader DC > click the print icon > select Booklet > Let the print menu manage the setup > Print 4 pages of the document to Test.

➡️  The Paper size may be missing / wrong / not set correctly.  For example, if you think the paper size settings should be A4 but somewhere the Layout > Size, the document size is "Letter", the printing options might end up looking and behaving other than expected.

➡️  Assuming the Paper Size (used in Print) / Page Size (used in Word > Layout) are correct, consider looking at the Margin and Gutter Settings (Word document > File > Print > Page Setup.

➡️  If you are not sure where the borders of the document are located, add a "box border" around the document pages to provide a reference outline.  This is not meant to "fix" anything, of course, but it can give you a visual reference about what is going on in the document.  For example, add borders > set up to print (perhaps in PDF) > check the Print Preview
