Samsung M2830DW Laser Printer Dead

Hi,

I've had a New Samsung M2830DW Laser Printer still sealed in the OEM box setting under my desk for years. Today I decided to set-up & use.

All it does is set there with the Leds solid On; Toner On Orange, ECO On Green, WPS Blue, Power On Blue, Error On Orange.

The Power On/Off button only works after plugging into power, then it does nothing until unplugged/plugged in again. The ECO, WPS, X buttons do nothing when pressed. The printer is Dead, no noise nothing.

Toner & Paper are properly inserted.

Appreciate anyone's ideas! Otherwise, it's going in the trash.

I would try to start it without the toner cartridge and drum in it. It is possible that the drum unit is stuck and not rotating and that is causing the error.

Same symptoms with the Toner cartridge removed.

Plug into power. Pressing Power button on Blue & Error Led Green for 2 sec then turns solid Orange & WPS, ECO, Toner led On.

Only way to Power Off is to unplug.
