Hey there @cjc0622,

Thanks for getting back to me. If the copies work, the printer itself is fine and the issue would be software related to your OS. If you have tried each step from the guide I posted and still cannot print, I would next recommend getting in touch with the computers manufacturer, or Microsoft to repair the operating system. Afterwards, printing should work from your system again.

Good luck 🙂

Hey there @cjc0622🙂

Welcome to the HP Forums!

I saw your post about how your Officejet 5610 is currently not printing a test page, or from your Windows 7 system and I wanted to reply to help you out.

1. I would first recommend a power reset, and ensuring the printer is plugged in directly to a wall outlet. When that is done, try making a copy from the front panel of the printer to test the hardware. If the copies work, move on to the link I posted next.

With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the unit.
Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
Wait at least 15 seconds.
Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the unit.
If the printer does not turn on by itself, press the Power button to turn it on.

2.  Try each of these steps, in full and in order: Print Jobs Stuck in Print Queue (Windows)

Get back to me with the results please, and we can work on any issues from there if we need to. Good luck:)

Did all of what you suggested. The printer will copy but not print a word or excel doc. I even replaced both cartridges with brand new ones. Nothing happens. But when I look in the print queue, the docs are there and it inidicates "printing"
