Thanks for reaching out to us on HP Support Forums.

I understand that you have an HP Officejet Pro 8620 e-All-in-One Printer and would like to modify or delete an email address in the address book for scanning to email. I'll be glad to assist you with this case.

I did some research on this case and found that the changes to the email address can be made from the printer's EWS page (EWS = Embedded Web Server). Following are the steps that can help:

  • Touch the wireless icon on the printer and it should display the printer's IP address.
  • Type the printer's IP address into the web browser on your computer. Just like you do to go to a particular website, you type the website name into the web browser.
  • This should display the printer's EWS page on the computer.
  • In the EWS page, click on the Scan tab, click Email Address Book.
  • It should display the email address and should give you an option to either delete it or modify.

I sincerely hope this information helps. Please feel free to keep me posted for further assistance.

Good luck! 🙂
