I see you get a scanner error Please do not worry I will help you. Recommended action for this is mentioned belwo.
Reset the printer:
Turn the printer off using the power switch, and then wait at least 30 seconds.
Turn the printer on and wait for it to initialize.
If you are using a surge protector:
Turn the printer off.
Remove the surge protector.
Plug the printer directly into the wall socket, and then turn the printer on.

This is a laser scanner error, the one in the print engine, not the scanner on top. Nearly always a failed motor, unless you recently disassembled the printer and knocked a cable loose. That means you would need to replace the scanner.
