@AGV7351, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your HP 4630 printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

If the scan to computer feature is not working on your HP Officejet 4630 e-All-in-One Printer, follow these steps to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

Check Connections:

  • Ensure that the printer is properly connected to your computer via a USB cable or through a network connection.
  • Verify that both the printer and computer are powered on.

Restart the Devices:

  • Turn off your printer and computer.
  • Wait for about 15 seconds.
  • Turn both devices back on and try scanning again.

HP Print and Scan Doctor Utility:

  • Download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor utility. This tool can help identify and fix common scanning problems on your HP printer.

Reinstall Scanner Driver:

  • Uninstall the current printer software from your computer.
  • Download the latest printer software and drivers for HP Officejet 4630 from the HP website: HP Support - Software and Drivers.
  • Follow the installation instructions to reinstall the printer software.

Check Printer Settings:

  • From the printer control panel, ensure that the Scan to Computer feature is enabled.
  • Navigate to the Settings menu and verify that the scanner is listed and properly configured.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
