I have an HP LaserJet Pro MFP M130fw printer, and the display screen suddenly went blank. The printer powers on, and you can hear all the usual sounds when it boots up, but nothing responds beyond that point. I can't print, scan, or do anything. Is there a fix for this? Thank you in advance for your suggestions.

@AlphaEljay, Welcome to HP Support Community,
Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue
Power Cycle the Printer
- Turn off the printer using the power button.
- Unplug the power cable from the wall socket and from the back of the printer.
- Wait for 1-2 minutes to allow any residual power to drain.
- Plug the power cable back in and turn the printer on.
Check if the display is working after this reset.
Check the Display Connection
- If the screen remains blank, try gently pressing around the edges of the screen to ensure it's properly connected.
- Look for any signs of physical damage or loose connections.
Factory Reset the Printer
If the screen still doesn't work, a factory reset may help.
- Turn off the printer.
- Hold down the "Cancel" and "Wireless" buttons at the same time.
- While holding those buttons, turn on the printer.
- Keep holding the buttons for about 15 seconds until you see the printer go through a reset process.
Update or Reinstall Printer Drivers
If the screen is working but you can’t print or scan, try updating or reinstalling the printer drivers on your computer:
- Go to HP's official website.
- Find your printer model (HP LaserJet Pro MFP M130fw) and download the latest drivers for your operating system.
- Follow the installation instructions.
I hope these steps help resolve the issue

Hello Garp_senchau,
My sincere thanks for your suggestions on fixing my printer. I tried each of the steps you prescribed but unfortunately, it did not work.
I tried the power cycle with no difference, There are no signs of physical damage, I tried the factory reset but with the M130fw there is no way to see the cancel and wifi on the blank screen (The only marked buttons are the "return" "home" and "question mark" buttons. I tried the drivers update or reinstall but it fails all the time.
I really wished one of this steps worked but no change at all at this point. I apologize for the late response.
Regards,
AlphaEljay

@AlphaEljay, considering everything you have mentioned so far, it seems like a hardware malfunction.
The printer will need to be replaced, and if the device is out of warranty, there will be a nominal fee.
If you are interested, please share the product serial number and the product number via private message because we value your privacy.
Regards.
