Hi @JD0701,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be glad to help you!

I understand how frustrating it must be to deal with repeated Service Error 79 issues, especially after performing multiple troubleshooting steps like resetting NVRAM and replacing the formatter board. Based on the actions already taken, it appears to be a deeper hardware or firmware issue that requires advanced support.

Since you've already attempted advanced troubleshooting, including hardware replacement, it is best to contact HP’s phone support for further assistance.

For that to happen, we will give you additional instructions/information via Private Message.

Please check your inbox on the forums page for the private message.

Please mark this post as Accepted Solution” if the issue is resolved and if you feel this reply was helpful click “Yes”.
