Setup Envy Photo 7855 Without Setup Cartridges

My Envy photo 7855 came without ink cartridges

I called HP and they shipped me the cartridges, but I'm still getting a error message saying to use the cartridges that came with the printer.  How can I bypass this?

Hi @Carl1224,

We would have to perform an OOBE reset on the printer to bypass the error

• The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.

We could try changing some settings in the Support Menu to use regular cartridges

This issue with the 7855 is crazy.  I, like many others here, do not have the setup cartridges. My office shipped this to me at a job site with nothing. 

If possible, please forward the reset or correct way to bypass this message so I can print.
