Brand new installed today, all set up correctly. When I shut down printer it returns an error code: F0.01.01.02. I have restarted and unplugged etc. But still showing up. Any ideas please.

Hi @Tim1970,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
The error code F0.01.01.02 on your HP OfficeJet Pro 9135e typically indicates a hardware issue, often related to the printer’s internal components or firmware. Since the printer is brand new and you’ve already tried basic troubleshooting steps like restarting and unplugging, here are a few more steps you can take.
- Check for Updates: Ensure the printer’s firmware is up to date. Sometimes, updating the firmware can resolve error codes.
- Inspect Connections: Make sure all cables and connections are securely attached. Loose connections can sometimes cause errors.
- Factory Reset: Perform a factory reset on the printer. This can often resolve persistent errors. Refer to the user manual for the exact steps to perform a factory reset.
- Check for Physical Obstructions: Ensure there are no obstructions or foreign objects inside the printer that could cause errors.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.

I have spent all afternoon with HP support via whatsapp, we went through all of these actions, updated firmware, factory setting reset etc. But the error is still appearing. I think I will reluctantly return the item which is probably the best outcome given like you say it is hardware issue which could effect other elements. It is such a nice printer and having had a refurbished Officejet 8100 series for 7 over years I will have to repurchase and hope this error is isolated to this machine.
