Welcome to HP Support Community, @Ddmsmitty

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP DeskJet 3752 All-in-One Printer continues to skip lines even after performing alignment and printhead cleaning, you can try these additional troubleshooting steps:

Step 1: Check the Paper and Print Settings
Review the Paper Type and Size Settings:
Ensure you have selected the correct paper type and size settings for your print job. Incorrect settings can cause issues.
Use good quality paper. Wrinkled or curled paper can lead to print issues.

Check Print Quality Settings:

Go to the print dialog box from your software application.
Click on "Properties" or "Preferences" to open the print settings.
Select a higher print quality setting. Sometimes, selecting 'Best' instead of 'Draft' might solve the problem.

Step 2: Reinstall or Update Printer Drivers

  • Sometimes, updating or reinstalling the printer drivers can resolve issues with print quality. Ensure that your printer driver is up to date. You can download the latest drivers from the HP Official Website.

Step 3: Check for Firmware Updates
Check if there is any firmware update available for your printer model. Firmware updates can address known bugs and improve printer performance. Visit the HP Support page for your printer to find firmware updates.

Step 4: Reset the Printer Again
Turn off the printer and unplug the power cord.
Wait for about 60 seconds.
Plug the power cord back in and turn on the printer.

Step 5: Perform Another Printhead Cleaning Cycle
If skipped lines still occur, perform another set of printhead cleaning. Sometimes multiple cleanings are needed.

Step 6: Evaluate the Print Quality Diagnostic Report
Print a Print Quality Diagnostic Report to identify specific printer issues.
Look for any repeated patterns or defects that might indicate a mechanical problem.

Step 7: Service the Printer
If all else fails, there may be a hardware issue that requires professional servicing.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
