Is it true that HP is fully aware of the Smart Tank Printhead error, has no permanent fix and continues to sell these defective printers to unsuspecting customers?  I am very frustrated that I have a one year old printer that will not print because of printhead errors.  I have wasted too much time already trying to solve this problem.  I guess that I will have to buy another printer, CoPilot tells me that the Epson EcoTank has the highest reliability.  I will never buy another HP product after this terrible experience.

HP Recommended

HP offers a 3Y free warranty if you register your product, EPSON chares 100$ for 3Y warranty.

 

HP has some advantages and disadvantages over EPSON and vice versa.

No 3 yr warranty when I registered my 7602 printer straight after purchase
