I have an HP Envy 6400e wireless printer and I changed the black ink cartridge- not sure if thats related or not- and my printer will not print now. It has a solid yellow light bar, and it won't print from the computer, it won't scan and print, nothing. It says on the website that the solid amber means its either offline or the ink cartidge access door is open, but there isnt an ink cartridge access oor, and I've tried to get the printer online multiple times with the router and the HP Smart app but nothing is working. It seemed to work with the app when i tried to reconnect the printer online up until I tried to print something, and now the light is solid amber again. Seriously considering getting another printer, I've had nonstop issues with this printer ever since I got it.

@rebecca8777, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.
I understand you are not able to use the printer. Do you have any error codes?
Kindly refer to - Blinking Lights and Error Codes
Reset the printer
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
- Wait at least 60 seconds.
- Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
- Turn ON the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
- Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed.
Note: HP recommends connecting the printer directly to a wall outlet rather than a surge protector or a power strip.
Try making a standalone copy from the flatbed glass and check if that works. By this, we can conclude if this is a hardware or a driver issue.
Hope this helps! Let me know how it goes.
