Hi,

I'm using Windows XP and last night I was trying to open the Soluction Centre for my printer - HP Deskjet F2235 All-In-One Printer and it won't open.

The last time I used it was a few months ago and it worked fine.

Thanks.

Hi @F2235,

Thanks for accessing the HP Support Forums for extra support. I will do my best to assist you with this issue.

I understand you are having issues with HP solution centre on your HP DeskJet F2235 printer. Don't worry as I have a few steps to resolve this concern,

I would start by checking the installed printer software by downloading and running the HP Print and Scan Doctor. This tool can diagnose and fix many printing and printer software related issues. Please use this link to help you with that information: http://hp.care/2biN2XE

Try to scan a document and check if you are able to scan. If you are able to scan correctly, you may have a problem with Adobe Flash.  Flash is necessary to run the HP Solution Center.

Here's a related post which has helped other customers: Click here

If the issue persists, I would suggest the next option would be to uninstall and reinstall the full feature software, using the support website.

Let me know if those steps worked for you. If they did, that’s awesome! Give us some reinforcement by clicking the solution and kudos buttons, that’ll help us and others see that we’ve got the answers! Good Luck.

Thanks & Regards,

Thanks so much Biswajeet, I followed the instructions from the other posts which suggested that I uninstall Adobe Flash Player and the Solution Centre.  I then I reinstalled Adobe Flash Player using Internet Explorer as well as reinstallng the Solution Centrer and I am now able to open and use the Solution Centre as I have previously.

Have a wonderful Christmas and New Year.

I tried all of the above and nothing is working yet for the Solutions Center. My Adobe Flash Shockwave is up to date and functioning, I tried the Print and Scan Doctor, still not working. I have an e all in one C410a that was working just fine with Windows 10 until the late November 2016 update.

Somebody do something!

Hi @seasidefuel,

Thank you for showing your interest in the HP Forums, For you to have the best experience on the HP forum, you could also visit our HP Forums Guide for First Time Here? Learn How to Post and More.

I'd like to help 🙂

As I understand  you are having issues with HP Solution centre on your HP Photosmart C410a printer. I'd be glad to assist you with this.

I see that you have already tried the steps suggested in the previous post and still having the same issue. Have you tried re-installing the full feature software and driver for your HP Photosmart C410a?  If you have not tried that yet then I suggest you uninstall the HP software.  After the uninstall is complete it would be a good idea to perform a disk cleanup on the computer. A disk cleanup will improve computer performance and clear temporary files that may cause issues during the install of software. Once the disk cleanup is complete you should restart the computer and re-install the HP software.

To uninstall HP software click here: Uninstalling HP Software

To perform a disk cleanup click here: Performing a Disk Cleanup (It's for Windows 8.1 but the steps are the same)

To download the HP software click here: HP Photosmart  Full Feature Software and Driver
