I am using a HP Photosmart 6520 printer and have wireless connection. Just today, when I tried to print a letter on my letterhead, which I keep as a word doc, it prints with letters missing on the left side of the first two lines in the letterhead info at the center top of the paper. Then, in the body of the letter there are horizontal white space like lines through some of the black text.
I ran a Print Quality Diagnostic and cleaned the printhead and aligned the printer. The printed results of the printer alignment is not of good quality--the black and blue are not sharp and some are faint. Even the Print Quality Diagnostic printout is not printing well.
I hope I described what is happening enough for someone to understand. Please help. At this time, I cannot afford to buy a new printer.
Thank you.

Thanks for reaching out to us on HP Support Forums. I came across your post and would like to assist.
I understand that you're experiencing print quality issues with your HP Photosmart 6520 e-All-in-One Printer. I have read your post comprehensively and you've done a remarkable job performing the steps. Fabulous analysis. Spectacular diagnosis of the issue before posting. Kudos to you for that.
Are you using original HP ink cartridges or refilled ink?
The evidence points towards either the ink cartridges or the printhead. You may first replace the ink cartridges and check if that helps. Replace only those cartridges which do not print well. Secondly, Please review the steps from this HP article as it helps to fix various print quality related issues. Most of the steps you might have already tried and it may come handy to perform some missed steps.
If the issue gets resolved by replacing the ink cartridges then you may contact our HP phone support team to seek a replacement for the in-warranty cartridges. However, if the problem continues even after replacing the ink cartridges then it confirms that the printhead is defective. The printhead is non replaceable for this printer and you may check for other service options by contacting our HP phone support.
Hope this information helps. Let me know how it goes. Good luck! 🙂
