Recently I've been having an issue with the second page of a duplex print coming out upside down. I've managed to fix that but I'm still having an issue with printing 3-hole printer paper. I've always put the paper into the printer with the holes on the left side of the tray. When I print a single sided version, the page comes out of the printer with the page top away from the printer putting the holes on right (wrong) side of the page. When I print duplex of the same document, the top of the printed page is toward the printer and the holes are on the correct side of the document.
I'm normally able to find solutions fairly easily but this one has me over a barrel.

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you with the "Printing single-sided on 3 hole paper" issue.
Does the preview show up correctly?
What application are you printing from?
Meanwhile, Let's try and uninstall the printer software from the root level on your PC and install the full feature printer software.
--->In Windows, search for and open Programs and Features.
--->Select your HP printer.
--->Select Uninstall.
--->In Windows, search for and open Devices and Printers.
--->In the Devices and Printers window look for your HP Printer. If you see it listed, right-click on it and choose "Delete" or "Remove Device.”
--->Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo.
--->Type printui.exe /s and click OK.
--->Click on the Drivers tab.
--->Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it click on it and click remove at the bottom.
--->Select OK.
--->Select Apply and OK on the Print Server Properties windows.
--->Close Devices and Printers.
And then reinstall the printer full-featured drivers from software and drivers page
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
