I just ordered new ink and after installing it, it is now stuck on the printing alignment screen. I cannot cancel or get to the home page and it won't print no matter how long I leave my printer on. What do I do?

Hi @DreaLynn ,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP ENVY 4501 e-All-in-One Printer is stuck on the print alignment page after installing new ink, you can try the following steps to resolve the issue:
Restart the Printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for about 30 seconds, and then plug it back in. Turn on the printer and check if it resolves the issue.
Check for Obstructions: Ensure that there are no obstructions in the paper path. Sometimes, a small piece of paper or debris can cause the printer to stall.
Reset the Printer: Perform a power reset by turning off the printer, unplugging it from the power source, and then holding the power button down for about 15 seconds. Plug it back in and turn it on.
Update Firmware: Check if there is a firmware update available for your printer on the HP support website. Updating the firmware can sometimes resolve software-related issues.
Check for Paper Jams: Open the printer cover and check for any paper jams. Remove any jammed paper carefully. Make sure there is no leftover paper in the printer.
Cancel Print Job: If possible, try to cancel the print job from the printer queue on your computer. Sometimes, a print job may be stuck in the queue, causing the printer to be unresponsive.
Reinstall the Ink Cartridges: Turn off the printer, open the printer cover, and reinstall the ink cartridges. Make sure they are properly seated.
Factory Reset: As a last resort, you can perform a factory reset on your printer. Keep in mind that this will reset all settings, including Wi-Fi configuration. Consult your printer's manual for instructions on how to perform a factory reset.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
