Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a trusty HP Officejet Pro 8600 N911g Series printer that has served me for years and is still going well. However, I have a document stuck in the print queue I cannot remove. I can print a test page but nothing else. I have looked at all HP Help and Diagnostic pages and used the HP  Print & Scan Doctor asnd well as online forums to no effect. Despite following advice and directives I still cannot get this document off the print queue. Any help would be appreciated.
