HP desket 26300
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Printing on HP deskjet 2630 stops halfway. I have tried many things. For example I have bough new ink cartridges and done a factory reset. Scanning works fine. I have tried to print like 20 papers and all of them are 1/3 printed. I also tried "HP print and scan doctor". When I tried to print after my printer was able to print 1 full page and then after that all my pages were 1/3 printed. This problem started like 3 weeks ago for seemingly no reason. It happened during scanning and printing. I tried to also look if my HP printer wasn't up to date. That wasn't it. I am sooo lost. Please, someone help me 😞

@SusuA

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • Does the copy print out the same way?
  • Have you tried printing from a different application or device?

While you respond to that, let's try these steps:

  • With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and also unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  • Remove USB cable, if present.
  • Wait for 2-3 minutes, press and hold the power button on your printer for about 30 seconds to remove any additional charge.
  • Now plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet without any surge protector or an extension cord (This is important) and then plug back the power cord to the printer.
  • Turn on the printer and wait till the warm-up period finishes and the printer is idle.

And, also update the printer firmware:

  • Click here to download and install the latest printer firmware from your PC.
  • Click here to know different methods of updating printer firmware.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
