Product: HP ENVY Photo 7858 All-in-One Printer
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

After literally years of working suddenly I am getting a Print Cancelled message when I try to print.   This is for all documents of various types.  Nothing prints.  I am connected wirelessly.  I use HP Smart.  I use Instant Ink.  HP Smart says it is ready.  The printer says it is connected to my network.  But the ENVY driver that shows up says it is offline.  And I think I have made things worse.  After trying a lot of things I uninstalled HP Smart and tried to install it again.  Now it finds my printer when trying to set it up but it says it is offline and says it cannot connect to it when it is offline.  I have done all the standard turning things off, unplugging, and then restarting.  Does not resolve anything.  And it going through the so-called support stuff I find nothing that I can identify as being about this problem.  So I am stuck with a non-printing printer.  And, by the way, I have had it long enough that it is no longer under warranty.  Does anyone have any bright ideas, other than buying some other kind of printer?
