Having a printer supply system problem. When I changed the empty yellow ink cartridge and replaced with a new one I received an error message that there is a supply system problem. I followed the instructions to try a different cartridge and I did several times but still receiving the error. Tried to contact support through Facebook messenger but no agent came on. I followed all the instructions for trouble shooting given by hp online to unplug the printer and let it stay off for 2 minutes, then pressed the power button for 30 seconds, plugged the printer back in to wall socket and the printer. Turned printer back on. Still no change . I need help with this issue.

Hi @Donna1128,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like you've tried several good steps for troubleshooting this error. Here are a few additional steps that might help resolve the issue with your HP OfficeJet Pro 9025 All-in-One Printer.
Check Cartridge and Printer Contacts:
- Turn off the printer and unplug it.
- Open the cartridge door and remove the yellow cartridge.
- Check for any ink residue, dust, or debris on the cartridge contacts (the small, gold-colored connections on the cartridge).
- Use a lint-free cloth slightly dampened with distilled water or an isopropyl alcohol wipe to gently clean the cartridge contacts and the contacts inside the printer. Allow them to dry completely before reinstalling.
Inspect Cartridges for Damage:
- Make sure the cartridge is genuine HP and not expired or damaged. Non-genuine cartridges can sometimes cause supply issues.
- Try gently shaking the cartridge a few times, as this can sometimes help the ink flow properly.
Perform a Semi-Full Reset:
- This reset can sometimes clear errors related to the printer’s supply system. To perform a semi-full reset:
- Unplug the printer with it turned on.
- Wait for at least 60 seconds.
- Press and hold the power button while plugging the printer back in.
- Keep holding the power button for about 15 seconds, then release it.
- This may reset more of the internal settings than a standard restart.
Update Printer Firmware:
- Check if there’s a firmware update available for your printer. Outdated firmware can sometimes cause errors like this. You can update firmware via the HP Smart app or the printer's settings menu if it's connected to Wi-Fi.
Use the HP Print and Scan Doctor (for Windows) or HP Smart App (for Mac):
- The HP Print and Scan Doctor can diagnose and potentially fix supply system errors by running a series of tests and repairs. On a Mac, the HP Smart app can sometimes also assist in diagnosing the issue.
Factory Reset (as a last resort):
- This step will erase all settings and configurations on the printer, so you would need to set it up from scratch. If you're comfortable with this, you can usually find this option in the printer’s settings under “Restore Settings” or “Reset.”
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
