I bought a package of Jolee's Boutique® Easy Image® Heatless Transfers: https://www.michaels.com/jolees-boutique-easy-image-heatless-transfers/10508914.html

I follwed the directions on the instruction sheet inside the package and set my paper/quality in the printer settings on my Dell laptop running Windows 10 to Iron-On Transfer.

When I clicked to print, the transfer paper got jammed in my printer. I was able to get the paper out with very little damage and, when I tried to print again, it jammed again.

I have never had this issue with this transfer paper brand.

How do I keep the paper from jamming?

*Update* I figured out the problem. I bought a package of t-shirt transfer paper at Michaels. Upon arriving home, I noticed that the package said "heatless" on it. The instructions say HP on them so I assumed my printer would work. Because it's "heatless", each piece of paper is like one gaint sticker in the sense that you peel the backing off the paper and stick your design on to your shirt. Upon returning my package of "heatless" transfers, I bought  a package of "iron-on" transfers. I then realized that the paper was the issue when the "iron-on" transfer sheets printed without jamming. Something on the "heatless" transfer sheets was sticking to my printer and preventing them from passing through the printer but the "iron-on" transfer sheets did not have anything sticky so they went through.

HP Photosmart 5520 e-All-in-One Printer series

Assuming you have used this paper in this printer without issues on previous occasions , the problem might be a bit of dirt.  Printers eventually get dirty and things can "stick".

Regardless, what is generally known to help is included in this document:

HP 5520 Printers - 'Paper Jam' Error

Note the request in the document that you perform checks / solutions in the order presented.

Even if you feel the need to rush, read and perform each step thoroughly before assuming "this is not it" and moving on.  Things start to get more interesting around Step 6 (assuming you get that far).

Good Luck.
