After getting a cartridge error blinking yellow light on my tango x I replaced my black ink with a new hp64 ink cartridge after a few months of not using it, the printer still gives me the same error (shows the black ink cartridge not communicating) after unplugging, cleaning the receptors, everything. I’ve only printed 10 pages total on this printer and have spent close to $200. Please help!

Hi @Lololaurenas

I'd like to help!

I understand you are receiving a cartridge error.

If you have already performed the steps from the document Error Indicates Faulty Ink Cartridge and the issue persists, it could be a cartridge /printhead failure.

Please reach out to HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.

Hope this helps!
