Getting message The Printhead installed is not intended for use in this printer, or is damaged. have tried replacing the printhead but still getting the same message

Where did you purchase the replacement printhead? I am not sure if they are geographically limited like some ink cartridges but that is possible. Or if it is a non-HP printhead that might be the issue as well. Did your original printhead fail or did it start throwing this error as well?

The printhead issue began immediately when I replaced the magenta ink jet cartridge with a non HP brand which I have used for years without issue. So I replaced the new cartridge with another with same printhead error remaining. I cannot get to the Home Screen to do any kind of testing. The printer is locked on the printhead error message. I expect that firmwear updates to the printer is penalizing me for not using genuine HP ink cartridges which I find are ridiculously expensive and is relentlessly displaying the printhead error message
