HP Officejet Pro 8600
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

IMy HP Officejet Pro 8600 ran out of black ink.  The printer had been printing just fine until it ran out of ink.  I purchased a new HP 950XL black ink cartridge but when I installed it, I got an error message:  "Printer Failure   There is a problem with the printeror ink system.  Turn printer off, then on.,  If problem persiste, contact HP."  I tried this several times to no avail.  So I went online to try to get help from HP.  I found a page on the HP site that gave 5 steps to follow in order to try to fix the problem.  One of the steps was to try a new ink cartridge.  So even though it was a new ink cartridge (about $45) that I'd put in the printer, I figured perhaps it was defective.  So I ordered a new HP950 black ink cartridge from HP for about $33. (I didn't order the 950XL because it was more expensive & I didn't want to waste more money it that didn't work.) Well, I inserted the 950 black ink cartridge & it did NOT work either.  So the final step of the 5 steps was to buy a new printhead.  I found printhead CR322A part number on the HP site.  I looked at the photo to make sure it looked like my printhead. There were 2 photos at different angles:  the 1st one looked like my printhead but the 2nd one did NOT look like my printhead.  I am hesitant to order the printhead - for $120 + shipping - because it might not be the correct one.  I don't know how to find out whether the 2nd of the 2 online photos of the part number is a mistake on the part of HP.  (Yes, companies can make mistakes!)  I was unable to get a phone number to call HP.   [personal information removed]  HELP!!!!
