Each time after a long period of inactivity, the printer stops accepting print. I use HP Smart, send a document to the printer, then Windows notification was appearing - "The printing job has been canceled" and the printer job hangs is not executed. My attempts to reset the printer as advised in https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Printers-Archive-Read-Only/Print-Job-Cancelling/m-p/6043349 were unsuccessful. Last time I completely uninstalled all drivers/HP Smart and reconfigured the printer. However, doing this every time for printing is crazy.

Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Let's reset the network settings on the Printer: 1. Press and hold (the Information button) for 3 seconds, and then release the button. All control panel buttons will light up. 2. Press and hold (the Wireless button) and (the Cancel button).
The printer restarts and, depending on your printer model, the Status light pulses purple or (the Wireless button) starts blinking blue.
This indicates that the printer is in wireless setup mode. You can now set up a wireless connection between the printer and your device.
Let me know if this helps.
