Hi @Admin122,

Welcome to HP Support Community!

We noticed that this thread hasn't had any updates in a while since your original post; while this is rare, we didn't want this post to remain unanswered, so here's the solution to your query. We hope it helps you and everyone viewing this post 😊

We understand that your HP Ink Tank 319 printer is producing hazy or faint printouts, with letter doubling, making the text unreadable. We’re here to help resolve this issue.

Step-by-Step Troubleshooting:

  1. Check Ink Levels

Make sure all ink tanks are sufficiently filled. Low ink, especially in black, can cause faded or hazy prints.

2. Clean the Printhead

You can do this directly from the printer software:

  1. Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers
  2. Right-click on HP Ink Tank 319 > Printing Preferences
  3. Navigate to the Maintenance or Services tab
  4. Click Clean Printhead (you may need to run this 2–3 times for improvement)

3. Align the Printhead

Misalignment often causes doubled or blurry text.

  1. From the same Maintenance/Services tab, choose Align Printhead
  2. Follow the on-screen instructions and print the alignment page

The printer may request you to scan the page for calibration—follow that step if prompted

Please mark this post as “Accepted Solution” if the issue is resolved, and if you feel this reply was helpful, click “Yes”.
