I have MacOS Ventura 13.4.  My printer is a HP Laserjet Pro MFP M227fdw.  I just replaced the toner cartridge with a HP CF230X.  It is still showing that toner is low.  How can I change to show that it was just replaced and not have any more error messages? I do not, and will not, do Instant Ink.

I will definitely try that and let you know. Thanks for all your help.  I was update on all my firmware & couldn't figure it out. Thanks for all the help.  I have never had a defective ink or toner cartridge before.  Wow

Print the supplies status page from the printer reports menu, scan and post it here.

This is what pops up several times an hour if I am printing.  It is very annoying, especially since it is a brand new cartridge that I bought and replaced on 05/15/23.

It won't let me authenticate it, bc it says the server is or internet connection is not available.  I'll try to get a photo of that later (BTW, it wouldn't let me attach a .pdf.  I had to send a photo).

There is nothing to reset, your toner is defective, it has printed 55 pages and shows as empty. You need to get it back to a place of purchase for a replacement include a supplies status page with the defective toner.

This worked.  Thanks again for all the help.  It was greatly appreciated.  The manager at Office Max/Office Depot said that they have had several defective cartridges in the last couple months.
